Crime Watch Security Lights

Jeff Norris is the inventor and salesman of the Crime Watch Security Light adapter (pictured above).  He has been selling these lights door-to-door for over twenty years.  He has traveled thirty-four counties.  He has been out visiting Minonk residents over the month of February, 2008.  Most of his sales have come from door-to-door and word of mouth.

How do the lights work?

During normal operation, you flip your light switch once.  During an emergency, flip the switch twice (on, off, on).  The light will then blink until it is shut off.  These lights are great if you need police/fire/ambulance to find your residence easily and quickly.  In addition to emergency personnel locating your house, it will also alert any neighbors that there is an emergency situation.

While speaking with Jeff, he mentioned that he had a customer that could not get a salesman out of her house.   She activated her emergency light, which alerted her neighbor.  Her neighbor came to her rescue and told the unwanted guest to leave.

In addition to the security feature, this also works as a automatic light.  If you're one that likes to have their porch light on at night, you can leave the switch flipped on.  It will turn on at dusk, stay on for several hours, then it will shut off.

This light does not have to be used outside, you can also use it in an indoor socket.  This would be good for vacationers to use in their home while they are away.

What does the Crime Watch Security Light consist of?

As the picture above shows, this adapter screws into your light fixture and then screw a bulb of your choice into the other end.
